Re-Imagine Ramsey
I am happy to share the exciting new opportunity at our Ramsey Elementary School in Stroudsburg, appropriately titled: Re-Imagine Ramsey! The Stroudsburg Area School District, in collaboration with Pocono Services for Families and Children (PSFC), has partnered to provide educational opportunities for infants, toddlers, 3, and 4-year-olds. This large project has been in the works for some time. Pocono Services for Families and Children is anticipating opening for services at the Ramsey building in September 2025. PSFC offers programs for infants and toddlers, 3 and 4-year-olds through Pre-K and Head Start programming, and before/after school care for school-age children. PSFC works to provide access to health and nutrition and support for families across our region. To enroll, call PSFC at 570-421-7211 or go to their website at psfc.org, and click the enroll tab in the top right corner.
There is also an appeal to the spirit of volunteerism for the “Re-Imagine Ramsey” Project. PSFC seeks volunteers to assist from June 16th to 20th with classroom updates. This includes painters, people to lift and move things, cleaning carpets, setting up classrooms, and transporting equipment and supplies between buildings. Anyone with a passion for community service is encouraged to contact PSFC by calling (570)-421-2711 or visiting their website at psfc.org for more information.
Thank you for considering enrolling your infant, toddler, 3 or 4-year-old, and for considering volunteering.
Sincerely,
Dr. Cosmas C. Curry
