Hello Mountie Nation:
The district is gathering data via parent and student surveys to assist in making decisions regarding academic programming and school climate/culture. The results of the survey are strictly confidential and anonymous. The parent survey can be found HERE. The student survey will be administered via student school email on an open-completion basis beginning Monday, February 12, 2024, and ending at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, February 26, 2024. The survey will be available for students in grades 7-12.
The assessment goals of the survey are as follows:
Determine our students’ sense of career development.
Determine our students’ enjoyment of school.
Determine our students’ level of understanding on knowing where to get help.
Determine the level of our students’ expectations of the staff.
Determine our students’ comfort level of being welcome in our schools.
The results of the survey will provide our administration and staff with the necessary information to design educational activities that meet the needs of our students and provide them with the support necessary to be successful through this pandemic and beyond.
Students may also choose to opt out of the survey by simply not completing the survey when distributed or parents can opt their child out by calling the main office phone number of their child's school requesting for their child to be opted out of the survey. A copy of the student survey can be viewed and completed HERE.
You may also opt out by completing the opt-out signature form provided below. Simply fill out and return to school or send it to the school principal by Friday, February 2, 2024.
